As you know from the last time that I was in New York for fashion week, I like to play tourist in between the shows. Well, on this day, I took a little stroll through Central Park.

Just in case you weren’t aware, New York was experiencing a little bit of a heat wave. Like any good traveler, I checked the weather prior to my arrival. However, living in Arizona has my gauge for weather completely screwed up. Ninety-five degrees is a nice day.

So, I saw 80 and packed as if I read 65 degrees. My bag was full of cooler weather options like this embellished sweater and tiered maxi skirt. Lesson learned: Sometimes, you will have to make some sacrifices in the name of fashion.
Yes, I was hot.
